Update 07/13/2009: Snopes.com still quotes Wikipedia as proof of Obama's birth at Kapiolani but Wikipedia can't even prove that Obama is born in Hawaii....
Update 07/10/2009 09:29 AM Now the Kapi'olani Medical Center took down the letter from Obama. See report and proof at WND.COM and also wikipedia has referenced the site before it was taken down. Wikipedia is changing its entries daily on this issue which is the source that Snopes.com quotes as proof that Obama was born at Kapi'olani after revising their own site (see below story). So you will need to look at the history of edits here and review it yourself.
Update 07/08/2009 06:57 pm I just noticed that Wikipedia changed their entry to read: "The hospital is the birthplace of Barack Obama, President of the United States." Read below for why this is of interest. I printed out what it read earlier just in case Wikipedia noticed this and decided to change their site. Click on link to the left for screen to view evidence of this change. It reads currently at the bottom of the page: "This page was last modified on 8 July 2009 at 22:57"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below is a letter Obama sent to Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii at a Centennial Dinner on 01/24/2009 which was read by Rep. Neil Abercrombie. Obama clearly references this hospital as his hospital of birth.
Below is screen shot of Snopes.com 90 minutes before this article was published at WND.COM showing his hospital of birth in Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
90 minutes later Snopes.com has corrected their information to read "Barrack Hussein Obama, was born on 4 August 1961 at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. (News accounts have also variously reported his birth as having occurred at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.)"
Now if you will follow me on the links Snopes.com provided above for the evidence that Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii is his place of birth. The Kapiolani link goes off to wikipedia as source proof that Obama was born at this hospital which then links to a Washington Post article as evidence of his birth. But this can't be conclusive evidence from Snopes.com cause they themselves admitted that there are other news accounts that report his birth as having occurred elsewhere. But it even gets worse for Snopes.com and wikipedia.com. By clicking on the link wikipedia provides for information on Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children you find these comments:
"The hospital is the alleged birthplace of Barack Obama, President of the United States, although the hospital refuses to confirm or deny this claim due to privacy policies.[1][2][3][4][5] The release of Obama's official birth certificate, naming the hospital of birth, is the subject of current litigation."
Notice Wikipedia is unable to evidence forth Barack Obama's birthplace and admits that Obama's official birth certificate is the subject of current litigation. So Wikipedia is unable to confirm Obama's hospital and even admits his official birth certificate is in dispute as Snopes.com links to wikipedia as proof that Obama was born in Kapiolani Medical Center and not only that but the very source that Snopes.com cites for the hospital of birth also contradicts Snopes.com report on the issue of Obama's birth certificate. For more on that see Snopes and FactCheck caught misrepresenting the position of those after Obama's birth certificate.... and Video of reporter asking the White House Briefing Press Secretary Robert Gibbs about Obama's "LONG FORM" birth certificate.
So the best Snopes.com and Wikipedia can report is that "Barack Hussein Obama II (allegedly born in Honolulu Aug. 4, 1961)" which is how conservapedia has reported it.
Just because a site claims to be a fact checking site doesn't mean we can conclude that site to be the thus saith the Lord on all matters. They may be good on some items but then on others they may not be so good. What might conclusively prove Obama's place of birth is what many are asking for that being Obama's "LONG FORM" original birth certificate or hospital records.

FactCheck.org needs some Fact Checking itself. First Amendment attorney tells why many are concerned about hate crimes bills that FactCheck misses.
